Clarion Lite is an Experiments With Google collaboration with Open Up Music. It lets you make music in different ways, using simple and colorful shapes on the screen of a computer or mobile device. Explore the different patterns to find layouts that work best for you.

A simple tutorial an guide you through the process or you can begin exploring on your own. included sounds (at this time) feature woodwind, synth, marimba, piano, and strings. More may be added at a later date. Tracking choices include keyboard or mouse, as well as body movement through the device camera.

You can play using your mouse and keyboard. Or, turn on your webcam and track a point on your body, like your nose. Note that your images are not being stored or sent to any Google servers while interacting with the experiment.

Open Up Music designed the features to bring their accessible musical instrument Clarion into the web browser for anyone to try. The web experience was made by Use All Five, Kyle Phillips, Claire Kearney-Volpe, Luisa Pereira, Yotam Mann, and Google Creative Lab with special thanks to friends at Henry Viscardi School at The Viscardi Center, Tech Kids Unlimited, and ADAPT Community Network.
