  BFV has survived BF2042 and stayed populated all these years, but BF6 case seems to be different. Despite the ongoing heated discussions, the new game is highly successful and popular, moving huge amounts of players from all previous titles and making their return very unlikely.

  I've posted some figures a while ago – the decline is massive, and in a theoretical situation when its current speed stays the same, BFV completely loses the playerbase in 2026.

  Certainly (and fortunately) this will not happen thanks to all the fans who love this game no matter what and will keep playing it. But the community is already times smaller than even just a year ago, and it still keeps shrinking every day.

  You can also see how the activity in this sub is dropping, being already close to days without posts at all.

  What is important in this situation is that we can help the game to stay alive for longer if people regularly see it's still actively played and it's still tons of fun.

  Everyone has their own opinion but for me BFV is still the most advanced Battlefield game in terms of general and squad gameplay, graphics and sounds. The attention to the details is also incredible, making other games look inferior in this regard. These things are the key for further game survival – people play it and will do it just because it has something what newer games don't.

  I've been playing quite a lot again since mid-October and posting here stuff almost every day on purpose to support the activity around the game and check people's reactions. I was glad to see quite a lot of comments about people considering getting back and also about their desire to do so after seeing certain stuff once again like a reminder how great this game is.

  You can also see some BFV posts in general Battlefield sub where people actually wonder why BF6 went through kind of a partial downgrade, lacking features and mechanics from the past. BFV appears to be the last BF game having "everything at once" and the one which current BFs are going to be compared to.

  Another important thing is the upcoming Christmas time and the sale which is expected to take place as usual (starting tomorrow?). This is a great opportunity for the game to get some new players or old players back and to slow down the decline. It should be kept in mind that nobody else will ever promote BFV or help it to be played other than its players, so even the sale alone is not enough.

  To summarize, this is the proposal: play the game and don't hesitate to upload everything you consider interesting or fun! The content doesn't need to be something unique, just anything cool which can make someone willing to play. At the same time, the most effective type of content is the one which shows the exclusive features of BFV (mentioned above). The main Battlefield sub can be a crucial place to remind people about how great this game still is and to attract them, but keep in mind that in case of uploads there the stuff needs to be really entertaining, and the comments or captions must be written carefully because the sub is full of rant and arguments about how BF6 is compared to the previous games.

  I dedicate the Wake Island portion to ThatThingTerran. If anyone ever wondered why I use music for my clips/compilations it's because I've seen a lot of fantastic clips, in the span that I made this account, from everyone else willing to post/share them. I thought, might as well try something different. If I'm going to post something and something much longer then what people are used to, I might as well make it entertaining. • No Medics/Elite Class Reinforcements

  Anybody else have an issue when it comes to having medics on your team? I swear every time I get into a game, I barely get revived because nobody plays the class. And even when they do play medic, they don’t always carry the syringe. I always found that medic/support class gets the most amount of passive points (through healing/resupplying) and so I play those classes the most. The other thing I’ve noticed is that when playing on maps like Verdun or Fort De Vaux, when you are reinforced with Elite Classes, my team just camps the boxes where the classes will eventually respawn.
