• Can we not have characters in the Five Nights at Freddy’s books being creeps for five minutes? First it was Doug now Jeremiah. Who’s next in the third movie novelization? William Afton?! I seriously hope they don’t do that.

  Even though I don’t care about Doug, or Jeremiah I think this is getting out of hand. The first movie novelization made doug a creep. Now, for some reason, they made Jeremiah a creep, even though he wasn’t in the first novelization? I have no idea why they changed the characters personality like that. I love the movie novelization and feel their better than the movies though that’s just because they give more backstory to characters, bring back deleted scenes, you understand how the characters feel, and you get more info compared to the actual movies. I understand you could only do so much for like an hour and something minutes and the novelizations just give you more. However, I seriously don’t get why we’re getting this trend. I seriously hope when the third movie novel comes out they don’t make my favorite character in the world/comfort character, a creep like this. This is getting ridiculous.

  I get it. There’s a lot of people who want to make William Afton this creep online with VHS, all of that stuff and I think the trend really started with a certain artist. I’m not bringing up who she is, but she made a fanfiction a very long time ago of her version of William Afton. Let’s just say being sexually drawn to hurting kids….. yikes. It got so bad to the point Scott had to say William Afton and that type of stuff does not belong in this franchise and I agree this is PG-13 franchise not rated r like Elm Street and there is no evidence to support William ever was that type of character. It’s just people have this weird idea and I’m sick of seeing everything so sexualized anymore which is why I don’t use mainly social media anymore. I don’t look up that stuff, but it’s like people always post that type of content. People try to take this out of context on that comment he made with Charlie in the original novel trilogy, but that falls apart because he knew she was an animatronic the entire time and he only wanted to know what Henry did to make her realistic, and that was it.

  I don’t get how this happened twice with both of the novelizations. I don’t watch the show, but I definitely know the quote. If I had a quarter for any time, the movie novel had something questionable. I have 2/4 which isn’t a lot but it’s weird. It happened twice. I seriously don’t get the weird shift between this character from the first to the second novel.

  Can we not have characters being creeps in the Five Nights at Freddy’s books for five minutes?
