Just realized something about you chica simping....(Second pic NSFW so be careful)
submitted by /u/SirChoobly69 to r/fivenightsatfreddys [link] [comments]
Most depictions of Toy Chica fanart have her beak missing, this makes her look quite human. So the toy chica simping can't be shamed in any real way since there's no proof of child possession and is depicted as human looking (other than yellow plastic and orange feet)
Still weird though but I had to say my words.

Why I love st4tic tunnel vision and why it should be the FNaF vhs standard.
submitted by /u/Marshatucker300 to r/fivenightsatfreddys [link] [comments]
First of I’m sorry about my bad text I’m mentally disabled to a certain extent. I’m doing the best I can.
As an og fan you would think as someone from 2014 I would treat it as the goat standard of Fnaf. I honestly don’t see VHS that way. I treated it as an AU like everything else. I remember when vhs became a thing and people were talking about it, but I didn’t really find myself drawn to it. However one night I decided to type in VHS and this was one of the first I ever saw of vhs ( i’m seeing one of the first because it was not my first. I can’t remember what series it was, but I think the first one I seen was a squidbumpis or however, you call it video before he was called out for being a creep. I thought it was OK, but I was not really obsessed. ) And honestly instead of vhs should be the FNaF gold standard I think tunnel vision should be the standard for vhs and here’s why.
Why I love tunnel vision It doesn’t make nonsense up. I’m going to save that for later though. It takes a concept and uses it greatly to its advantages. It’s a simple question “what’s it like to get captured by the funtimes?” And it does it greatly. While it has gore like most vhs does it’s handled perfectly and not over the top. Funtime foxy was ordered to kill two employees by William for learning too much. While we don’t see how funtime foxy killed the first one because the door was closed you can simply put two and two together. Funtime foxy is literally a robot made of steal, metal, and close to 300 pounds. I can see him overpowering and crushing the first employee and the blood slipping through the cracks of the door, alerting the second employee of what happened, which causes the second one in Funtime foxy to have a chase, causing him to slip in Funtime foxy killing him. The second time we see, Gore is in the end in flashes because William is experimenting on the kid for remnant it isn’t much, but it makes sense here if he’s torturing/experimenting on the kid there’s going to be blood etc but it’s not over the top just enough for it to make sense.
That and I really love how Funtime foxy is handled here. He’s not good, or evil. He’s literally a robot who’s just following his programming who can’t tell the difference between right or wrong and is only doing his job for his master who is evil. While I don’t necessarily hate giving the characters personality or anything. It’s just frustrating that people act like these guys have “real feelings” or something like it because at the end of the day, these are literally Chuck E. Cheese type robots and no matter how much programming you add to them at the end of the day these are mindless machines, and I love how tunnel vision focuses on that. Even when Funtime foxy interacts with the child in the tunnel he takes a minute or two like he’s analyzing what the child is saying then producing a response and doing what robots should do. I love how vhs focuses on real concepts and shows how messed up the franchise can be when it’s not implied. That and I’m fine with more mature content like the books ff, tfpp, or even the movie novelization, but I’m not treating it as a standard, but it’s just good to have more mature content for the older fans.
However let’s talk about how NOT to do FNaF vhs
Now look i’m not against you creating aus, fan games, creepypastas etc. what I love about the franchise there’s something for everyone. If you don’t like something, just find what speaks to you. However I’m bringing up a vhs series on how not to do it.
William afton cannibals tapes When I heard about it. At first I interested ( mainly because I’m a huge horror person. I always have been even when I was a kid but when I was 13 and old, that’s when I got really into horror. If you’ve been into the horror genre creepypastas, horror movies, video games etc for as long as I have you’re going to be seeing things. I can watch the goriest horror movies imaginable texas chainsaw, saw etc without flinching. ) until I saw it. Honestly these tapes only exist to be as shocking as possible, over the top, and without making sense. It’s suffers the same problems, but on a worse extent as a lot of VHS tapes that uses over the top gore, violence etc just be as shocking as possible without making sense and being realistic.
First how the freak is William not caught in the cannibal tapes?! At least in tunnel vision uses a real concept the funtimes are soundproof and captures someone when no one else is there. Do you know how much effort it would take for William to cannibalize, get rid of evidence, clean etc the crime? How would he have the time to do it without people questioning where he’s at etc? Even if he doesn’t do it in the restaurant it doesn’t change much about the situation. Second what is his motivation? In tunnel vision it was to get rid of two witnesses and to understand remnant. What’s the motivation for cannibal William? Oh he’s possessed by a demon? So he’s some cult worshiper who got possessed by a demon that made him a cannibal? That feels like you just made an excuse/is the edgiest ( can’t believe I used edgy. ) thing I ever heard of. That and the gore feels over the top. At least tunnel vision is realistic and believable. Here the gore is just here to be a shocking as possible and that’s it. Which a lot of vhs does. Like another vhs William fried someone and I heard the user was planning on using tape worms/parasites next…. Over the top gore does it make things scary In fact it makes things unscary. I used to be a huge creepypasta fan back in the day ( 2013 ) a lot of them is considered really bad by todays standards because a lot of them just use shock value or gore just because they think blood = scary when it doesn’t.
Take sonic.exe that creepypasta used a lot of gore because blood means “spooky” no matter how much gore you use doesn’t make it scary. I remember dormitbis og using gore content like crazy like its golden Freddy character and the designs were too much as in edgy just to be shocking as possible and that’s it. I never liked it even when it was new dormbitis was a new game it was so forgettable if I watch a let’s play I forget about it less than a week after all I can remember was the foxy typing thing, the cake bear changing, octopus puppet, and the weird springtrap design. It’s very ugly and not oh it’s so ugly. It’s good looking for the design. It’s ugly as in. It’s ugly and edgy. There’s a fine line between ok this is realistic and fine. Then there’s over the top violence, shock etc. at least for most horror movies like slashers even the most in violent stuff like Texas chainsaw, saw etc I can just simply enjoy it for what it is. Turn off my brain for a while. This however is really inexcusable when it’s for shock and just being over the top in the franchise that’s not known for this type of stuff and saying it’s the standard is really wrong. I’m fine with it exploring the darker concepts, but being edgy and shocking is not how to do it. Especially if it handles…ok I’m going to bring up something very touchy if you don’t feel comfortable with the subject end it right here. If you can handle it, continue on.
The rape content…. Ok I could be very wrong but I remember people saying the cannibal tapes had something also to do with making William a pedophile. ( though I didn’t see anything about that but then again things have Flied over my head constantly because of my disabilities, I can be slow at times depending what it is. Like in my favorite SpongeBob episode, have you seen the snail? The lady was eating the snails and I didn’t know that until I was watching a view of the episode on YouTube many years later. ) so things can easily fly over my head And have to give me for that. However why does everyone try to make William the kind of person like that?! Scott said junk like that doesn’t belong here like dormitbis, the ladyfisi fanfic, and now here….
Now I’m going to say something here so DON’T take it the wrong way. Am I against rape content and say it can never be used in media? The answer is no. I seen a drama movie, outlast, silent hill, ( though I don’t play silent Hill I know silent Hill two has that type of stuff. ) crime documentaries on the crime channel, even in other shows like criminal minds ( no I don’t watch criminal minds. Well I’m starting to try at least. The reason why I bringing up the show is because. Matthew lillard aka movie William afton was an unsub in an episode he was playing a serial killer who was implied and remember implied he was attracted to underaged boys and his teenage apprentice in the episode. How ironic. ) stuff like these handle it in a mature, responsible, and respectful way. It’s not forced, it simply explains how some of the characters are the way they are, or the movies handle it in a way that works, it’s from a crime documentary ( sorry for those who’ve been through that. ) or in the criminal minds lillard episode it’s just implied and well in crime shows expect to see all types of different criminals, and in real life they’re very screwed up people so acting like it never happens is no because people go through bad things like that in life so pretending it doesn’t exist is a no. However, it’s disgusting to randomly throw it out like that.
I seen very old creepypastas throwing around that type of content just for shock and a lot of people didn’t like those creepypastas because they handled it terribly. Murder is just as bad as rape and if you throw it around just for shock, can’t handle it, or it serves no purpose to the overall story then you shouldn’t use it. I remember when the Elm Street movies in 2010 tried to make Freddy Krueger one and have him be a serial killer after he died yet the characters tried to make him seem like he’s misunderstood until they found out he wasn’t?!…no just no. I remember seeing a post here where someone’s parents thought William was a creep….seriously? Can people not make him one for five minutes?! Like seriously it’s fine if you can handle it in a mature respectful way but if you can’t, don’t do it. I’m fine if you create your own story, your own au but don’t do what these bad people do.
