• Why doesn't Mojang add ambient noise? e.g. wind, bird song, tree trunks creaking in the taiga etc.

  It seems like such a simple thing to add, and it would really elevate the atmosphere and immersion in the environment. Is there some technical obstacle to doing this? seems like a no-brainer.
