The National Center For Standards and Certification Information (NCSCI) is part of the National Institute of Standards and Technology, and provides information on national and voluntary standards, government regulations, and rules of certification for nonagricultural products. The Center serves as a referral service in the United States for information about standards and standards-related matters. It contributes to the Institutes goals of improving U.S. competitiveness in domestic and world markets by advancing the use of the nation's science and technology through providing up-to-date information on standards and certification programs.
