Washington Wizards game tickets and schedule

Ticketmaster is the official ticketing partner of the NBA. Ticketmaster provides the transactional engine that most of NBA teams utilize. NBATickets.com provides links to Ticketmaster for each team that utilizes Ticketmaster, and to the respective primary ticketing partner for each team not utilizing Ticketmaster.

NBATickets.com is the NBA’s one-stop shop for all ticket types for all NBA teams. Fans can link out to buy single-game tickets directly from the team, browse resale options, or view more options on team ticket pages, including promotions and deals.

NBATickets.com is not a transactional site – it is a hub that links to the official team ticketing options for each team. Following outbound links to NBA team sites insures they are official, safe, and secure. Your tickets will be issued directly from the team. When you buy directly from the team, there is no risk of duplicate or fraudulent tickets. “Buy from team” means just that – you’ll be purchasing tickets directly from the team via the team’s ticketing software platform (each team works with its own chosen ticketing partner).

Additionally, other viable outlets for ticket sales are available. Additionally, NBA schedules, specific team schedules, and playoff tickets are provided by third-party ticket outlets. Prefer to speak to a person? For any questions about tickets, feel free to call Washington Wizards ticketing services directly at 202-661-5050.

  • Bilal Coulibaly To Return First Or Second Week Of Season; Alex Sarr To Miss Start Of Camp

Washington Wizards GM Will Dawkins gave injury updates on a couple of players ahead of training camp kicking off next week. Both Bilal Coulibaly and Alex Sarr will be limited as the Wizards open the preseason, with one player out longer than the other.

Coulibaly is expected to be out through the first week or two of the regular season. He's recovering from surgery to repair an injury to a ligament in his thumb.

Sarr should be back sooner than his teammate. The Wizards young big man is recovering from a strained calf that caused him to miss the end of France's EuroBasket run. Sarr is expected to miss the start of camp, but Dawkins said the Wizards are hopeful that their starting center will return before camp is over.

  • Wizards' Two-Way Signing Of Sharife Cooper Fuels Ace Bailey Speculation

The Washington Wizards were the preferred landing spot for Ace Bailey, various rivals tell Marc Stein. Bailey is represented by Omar Cooper, who had an unorthodox approach to Bailey's draft process.

The Wizards signed Sharife Cooper to a Two-Way contract last week. The signing adds intrigue to the theory of the Wizards for Bailey, as Sharife Cooper is the son of Omar Cooper. Cooper last played in the NBA during the 2021-22 season and has since played for multiple teams in Europe.

The Utah Jazz selected Bailey with the No. 5 overall pick amid speculation that he may refuse to report to the franchise.

Bailey appeared in two Summer League games with the Jazz, averaging 13.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 29.7 minutes. Bailey didn't appear in any additional games after having hip flexor soreness.

Cooper last played in the NBA during the 2021-22 season.

Cooper averaged 19.3 points and 8.0 assists for the G League's Cleveland Charge during the 2023-24 season.

The Wizards now have filled all three two-way deals with Cooper, Tristan Vukcevic and Jamir Watkins.

The Wizards also signed Keshon Gilbert and Jonathan Pierre to Exhibit 10 deals.

  • Bilal Coulibaly Undergoes Surgery To Repair Torn Ligament In Thumb

Bilal Coulibaly underwent surgery in New York City to repair a ligament tear in his right thumb. Coulibaly suffered the injury during EuroBasket playing for France.

Coulibaly is facing a probable six-week recovery time, which could force him to miss the start of the regular season as he begins his third NBA season.

Coulibaly was the seventh overall pick in the 2023 NBA draft out of France. Last season, Coulibaly averaged 12.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 33.0 minutes across 59 games for the Wizards.

  • Alex Sarr To Miss Remainder Of EuroBasket, Expected To Be Ready For NBA Season

Washington Wizards center Alex Sarr will miss the remainder of EuroBasket due to a calf injury. France ruled Sarr out of the remainder of the competition after he suffered the injury on August 30.

Sarr is expected to be ready for the start of the NBA season. The injury will not require surgery for the second-year player.

A starter for the Wizards, Sarr was coming off the bench for France at EuroBasket. In two games, the 7-footer had averaged 9.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and a block in 19.5 minutes per game.

A rookie with Washington, Sarr averaged 13 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.5 blocks per game. The second overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft was named to the All-Rookie first team following the season. Sarr finished fourth in Rookie of the Year voting.
