This scene pulls at my heart strings every time.

Last week I decided to get ACO on the PS, and even though I played this eight years ago, I still enjoy a new playthrough, and this scene always gets me grabbing for a tissue. I think I'm getting more emotional as I am getting older. 🥹😢

Where is even the AC Lore at this point?
submitted by /u/Cure_Scary to r/assassinscreed [link] [comments]
I'm one of the OG players that started playing AC 1 back in the day. Then the lore followed Desmond and his saving of the world. I also read all Oliver Bowden books, so I didn't dislike the games after AC 3 because I liked seeing the expanded world of the Assassin's reach, but now I'm at complete lost of where the lore even is.
Sure, AC Origins tried to show how it all started (still find it disapointing), but the other games flirting with the present time feels so disconected?
Is there any novel or comic that gives more context for the Assassin's in present day at all?

Posting this late but started my year off right with my 10th play through of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. This game never ceases to amaze me and be a comfort away from the lows of life. Here’s some quick photos.

Tablet icon??
submitted by /u/Main_Composer_3310 to r/AssassinsCreedOdyssey [link] [comments]
Sorry guys this is my first time playing an AC title as I haven’t really gamed since college (loving this game) and I’m having trouble figuring out what this icon is. GPT says it’s for my ship, but I can’t see on the legend what it means. I’m in the city of Mykonos on the silver islands and it’s the resistance cave hideout.
Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

Rewatching the cinematic trailers for the series really gives me a bad case of nostalgia.
submitted by /u/JuanMunoz99 to r/assassinscreed [link] [comments]
Every year or so I like to do a full rewatch of all the Assassin’s Creed cinematic trailers, mainly because no matter the quality of the games these trailers are always top tier. But recently I’ve been getting pretty nostalgic for life in general and I noticed last year when I did the rewatch that these trailers, even for the most recent games, make me extremely nostalgic for the eras they were released in. It kinda made me realize how important to my life Assassin’s Creed has become. This wave of nostalgia also extends to when I play the games since some of my favorite games sorta release during key years of my life. I’m probably not the only one who feels this, so I’m curious what some of y’alls thought process is with this.

The theater in Alexandria plays the condensed historical events of the game: the confilct between Cleopatra and Ptolemey for the throne and Cesar's involvement. Even before these events unfold in the story.
