This might sound silly but Togepi has always been my favorite pokemon. I've always thought how little I see about Togepi (merch and such) and my fiance pointed out yesterday how marketable Togepi is and he doesn't know why they don't utilize the cuteness and sellability of Togepi. Any thoughts?

hi, for the last week i’ve been joining mutiple yveltal, garchomp, and xerneas raids remotely (whether from being invited or from adding ppl here) but i’ve been ditched multiple times. with plenty of ppl in lobby. 5,6,7 is plenty for t5 raids. ive done a t5 with 3 ppl before. but my point is, i’ve wasted probably 4 passes just this week bc of it. just plz, if you join a raid, don’t leave. it’s possible. itll just take a little longer.

Reshiram and Zekrom both are strongly associated with an actual set of values : truth or ideals. Both are also associated with N : a naive person that genuinely believes in their conviction.

Over the course of Black and White 1, though, his convictions waivers as his worldview expands little by little, seeing people and Pokémon actually getting along, unlike the narrow worldview Ghetsis offered him.

Still, this Absol trusts you for some reason. That's good! If every person and Pokémon cared about one another like you two do, I could watch over the future of people and Pokémon without having to liberate Pokémon from people who just use them. Pokémon and Trainers who care about one another, like you and your Pokémon, will be separated. And that does break my heart a little.

I want to talk to you about something. It's about when I first met you in Accumula Town. I was shocked because that Pokémon said it liked you. It said it wanted to be with you. I couldn't believe there were Pokémon that liked people. Because, up until that moment, I'd never known a Pokémon like that.

The longer my journey continued, the more unsure I became. All I kept meeting were Pokémon and people who communicated with one another and helped one another. That was why I needed to confirm my beliefs by battling with you. I needed that more than anything.

Ghetsis, though ?

Yeah, good luck getting through to him. Dude spends who knows how much time planning a coup. And when it goes awry, he simply decides he needs to off you here and there.

And that's in BW1. In BW2, he starts with the "Kyurem, use Kill Child" strategy.

What I like about this (terribly worded maybe) is how Kyurem reflects his schemes : - By itself, Kyurem is weaker than both Reshiram and Zekrom. Alone, Ghetsis' propaganda probably wouldn't have reached the level of acceptance he needed to pull his plans off. - Ghetsis uses N as a forefront for Team Plasma ; fused with either Reshiram or Zekrom, Kyurem is actually stronger than either of them separately or its own lone incarnation. Although Kyurem isn't described as an evil Pokémon in itself in the Pokédex(es), the absorption/fusion is definitely portrayed as a terrible thing for either Reshiram or Zekrom in-cutscene.

There's also just something chilling about Ghetsis/Kyurem holding the truth or people's ideals away from them.

I really do love this story.
